Sustainability research focuses on a particular set of environmental, social and governance factors that influence brand value, reputation, management quality, and other intangibles that make up a growing portion of a company's value.

Sustainability research can be used to identify operational and reputational risks, provide insight into company management, benchmark companies against their industry or peers, or assist in aligning investments with values.

IW Financial's sustainability research group collects more than 1000 discrete data elements. These are compiled into issues within eight categories. Over 1,000 publicly traded U.S.-based companies are covered.
