IWF Catholic Values IndexThe IWF Catholic Values Index is the benchmark proxy for the broad market comprised of companies whose practices are best aligned with the values of Catholic investors based on the Catholic Bishop's Guidelines. This is a multi-cap, cap weighted index with broad sector exposure containing U.S. companies traded on U.S. exchanges. The index is calculated by Standard & Poor's. The Index is designed to give Catholic investors an opportunity to experience the economic potential of the broad market without asking them to compromise their values. Index Construction The IWF Catholic Values Index is a multi-cap, cap weighted index with broad sector exposure containing U.S. companies traded on U.S. exchanges. The Index is comprised of ten sectors within the broad market. The number of constituents within each sector is determined to represent that sector's proportion to the market. Each sector is represented by a combination of large, mid and small cap companies, with large cap companies representing 50 percent of the constituents in a sector. Small and mid cap companies represent the remaining 50 percent of the constituents. Once the list of Index constituents is determined, the entire Index is weighted by market capitalization.
